Abstract

ity Of Life), their evolution over time and the relation between the clinical characteristics of children with ASD and parental QOL. To provide answers to these objectives, 22 parents of 12 children with ASD were asked to fill in a questionnaire PAR-AR-QOL, that measures the consequences of the disorders of the child on parental quality of life in two times (T1-T2) in intervals of 48 months. The characteristics of children with ASD (levels of socialization, verbal and non-verbal communication) were assessed using the Cars-T scale. The results showed that parents of children with ASD  estimate that their QOL is average and stable over time. The  haracteristics of children with ASD are not related to the quality of life scores of parents in T1 and T2. An exception was noted in T2 for the significant correlation between mothers' adaptive life scores and the level of verbal communication of children.
