Abstract

The issue of the separation of the Algerian Sahara from the north is considered to be the most dangerous maneuver that the liberation revolution and the Algerian people have faced. In this article, we will discuss the reaction of the Algerian revolution and its leaders to the separation of the Algerian Sahara, both inside and outside the country. It took diplomatic and media work abroad to denounce this separation maneuver and its seriousness on Algeria in particular and Africa in general. These efforts have been reinforced by armed actions and a mobilization of public opinion in the country, as well as an awareness of the objectives of separation and its consequences
