Abstract

War is bad, so People hate war since ancient timese, the result of war is many dead and wounded on both sides, and treated  Muslims with the wounded from the beginning of Islam. They treated the prisoners in a good way and treated their wounds,
because they followed the principles of Islam that call for peace, humanity and mercy, and also to protect public health. The Prophet mohammad peace be upon him work on values of Islam, followed by the caliphs and his companions and Muslims, who do the same things. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was the first who take care of the wounded prisoner, before the international organizations that cared about the prisoner appeared. Also, the Science and law prove the wisdom in dealing with the wounded with mercy.
