Abstract

This paper attempts to monitor the critical thought of the writer Saleh Lambarkieh through his author (Theater in Algeria), which carries with it many issues of theatrical criticism, especially in its aspects related to the stages of rooting and establishment, with a focus on the procedural tools that he relied on to study theater in Algeria historically. And the way he chooses media and theatrical texts that establish his critical philosophy. In the light of the foregoing, the research paper is problematic, which is related to the critical mechanisms employed by the critic and the nature of the judgments he issued regarding the stages that the Algerian theater passed through from foundation to the stage of maturity and prosperity
