The Effectiveness of Phonological Awareness Training activities on The Lexical Levels (Understanding and Production) Development of An Autistic Child.

Abstract

Abstract: This study explored the efficacy of phonological awareness training activities in developing the lexical levels (understanding and production) of an autistic child. The sample used in this study consist if ten autistic children of ages ranging from 4 to 8 years old. This study was conducted in “Attofola Assaida” association in Batna state. The experimental method used phonological awareness training activities, the lexical level scale, and the phonological awareness scale. Findings from this study indicated the effectiveness of the phonological awareness training activities in improving lexical levels in both understanding and production of the target autistic children.
