Proposal of a speech therapy screening tool for articulation disorders (DOTA) in children and adolescents from 6 to 15 years old

Abstract

One of the main tasks of the speech therapist is to examine and diagnose the troubles that
affect the pronunciation or articulation of the case. For this purpose, we designed a practical
diagnostic tool that allows the speech therapist, to recognize errors in articulation by
presenting the isolated target sound, and then we included it in words and sentences from our
Algerian linguistic environment.
