Pain management and psychological Hardiness in blood cancer patients A comparative study on blood cancer patients at the University Hospital Benflis Touhami Batna

The current study aimed to identify differences between genders, education levels and the duration of illness in pain management in patients with blood cancer, and also to detect differences in levels of psychological hardness ( low - medium - high) in pain management in blood cancer patients. The study was conducted on a sample of 60 blood cancer patients at Benflis Tohami Batna University Hospital, The accidental sample was used, the data was collected using the pain management checklist prepared by the student and the psychological hardness questionnaire prepared by Al -Najjar and Al-Tala`a, based on the comparative method, the obtained results show the following: - No gender differences of blood cancer patients in pain management. -No differences between blood cancer patients with different levels of education in pain management. - No differences between blood cancer durations in pain management. - No differences between the levels of psychological hardness (low - medium - high) represented in the use of drugs, cold and hot compresses, relaxation and physical therapy in pain management. - There are differences between the levels of psychological hardness (low - medium - high) in pain management represented by the use of psychotherapy, massage and distraction
