Abstract

The system of higher education and scientific research in Algeria has adopted the traditional pattern in the educational process, which mainly reflected in the actual attendance of students. However, Algeria was also exposed to the risk of Covid-19, as the Algerian University was forced to use distance lecturing techniques in the teaching process. Therefore, our research paper aims to present the experience of Al-Akid Hadj Lakhder University in Batna to showcase the most important digital platforms for education, as the University has demonstrated its ability to use communication technology. This is achieved through student and cognitive material interaction via EAD platform, or the university’s digital campus, as well as forums held through Google Meet. Consideration should, therefore, be given to the positive effects of the crisis on the education sector and the need to develop the digital spaces of the Algerian University in the future.
