The identity and the struggle of the other is one of the most prominent issues addressed by various Algerian literary discourses. Perhaps the Algerian novelist discourse written in French is one of these discourses dealt with the issue of identity and the struggle with the other. The Algerian novelist writings adopted national identity components. Moreover, the Algerian writer wholeheartedly dedicated his writings to express the issues and concerns of his people suffering from marginalization during the period of French colonialism. This latter disrupted the constants and values of Algerian society, which led to a state of identity rupture and fragmentation in the midst of the conflict with the hostile other. Accordingly, the research aims to reveal this image through a descriptive, analytical and critical reading of the Algerian novel that depicted the predicament of stolen identity written by Yasmina Khadra
