The Role of the Image in the Practices of Linguistic Disguise The Palestinian and Israeli Media Discourse

Abstract

The present research attempts to investigate the role of the image in linguistic disguise practices between the Palestinian and Israeli media discourse. The research aims to reveal the relationship of the image to linguistic disinformation in the media discourse, the mechanisms of linguistic disinformation and its practices in the Palestinian and Israeli media discourse; the contents and practices of the image in linguistic disinformation in the media discourse between Palestinians and Israelis; the role of the image in practising linguistic disinformation in the media discourse between Palestinians and Israelis. The research opted the descriptive approach. A set of results and recommendations are mentioned by the end of the study.
