العمل التَّطوعي وأثره في ترسيخ قيم المواطنة في العهد النَّبوي

Abstract

This research is concerned with the collective voluntary work as well its impacts on emphasising the values of citizenship during the Prophet's era. Therefore, it was recognised as a major driver of implementing the essence of citizenship practically, consequently it had been one of the Prophet's major preoccupations and his companions. Most importantly, it had become a noble human behaviour and a civilizational symbol amongst them. Moreover, it set a constitution revealing the strong relationship between voluntary work and citizenship. This relationship generated a set of values and principles that contributed greatly to the society's unity, security and stability. Hence, this study aims to realise the objective of following and simulating the path of the Prophet and his decent companions while providing significant examples of the collective voluntary work. Additionally, the paper points to define the different fields of the organisational activity and its manifestations, inducing the necessity of rehabilitation of the collective voluntary work in the Islamic society. Because, this work is an important means to the process of progress and construction; with the necessity of activating this kind of work as a factor of protecting the society from social and moral evils.
