The legal system of the electronic notarial contract in Algeria

Abstract

In view of recent developments and the adoption of modern technology in all areas of society, economy and commerce, the Algerian legislature has sought to adopt e-government, which has begun to be reflected in this area. The civil and judicial departments have passed Law No. 18.05/2018 on e-commerce and strengthened the foundation of e-authentication by taking steps to establish formal principles through authentication contracts By making the electronic notary participate in the conclusion of the electronic authentication contract, and giving it the same effect as the traditional formal contract, the electronic authentication contract has the same effect.
