Abstract

Transnational organized crime, as termed by some "international organized crime", has been one of the greatest challenges facing the world, as it has experienced rapid developments at all levels, given its gravity, leaving dire political, economic and social consequences. Because now the focus is on organized crime per se. Algeria's ratification of a number of international conventions, Most notably the United Nations Convention against Organized Crime, Palermo, 2000 How to legislate domestic laws with the content of this Convention, and make exceptions to the general rules of the Code of Criminal Procedure criminal organizations ", pursuing amendments to the Rules of Procedure in 2006, with a view to curbing the activities of criminal organizations because of their particular nature which differs from ordinary offences, and which is specially reviewed at the investigation and investigation stages. and the extension of the domestic jurisdiction of both judicial police officers, public prosecutors and investigating judges for the judicial treatment of a range of crimes created. As such, the legislator has taken an important step in combating organized crime after being readjusted to domestic policy after taking preventive action to reduce organized crime, to remedy the shortcomings of previous laws and to speed up the proceedings and prosecution of such criminal organizations.
