Abstract

The present study aims to identify the effects of psychological capital and its dimensions (selfefficacy, hope, optimism and resilience) on the well-being of workers, while pointing out which of
these dimensions has the most impact. In order to achieve the goal of this study, we followed the
steps of the descriptive and analytical approach, and a random sample of (54) workers at the National
Social Security Fund in the state of Blida was selected. We concluded that psychological capital
indeed effects the well-being of workers, with optimism as the most important of its dimensions,
followed by resilience, while self-efficacy ranked third, and hope placed at the bottom of list. The
results showed this latter's statistical insignificance as the levels of the calculated significance were
greater than the level of (.05) This indicates the absence of a statistically significant degree of change
created by hope on the well-being of workers, according to the workers of the National Social
Security Fund in the state of Blida.
