This study aims to highlight the realities of Algerian-European relations, focusing mainly on the establishment of a zone of free trade between the two parties and what we are touching in terms of these relations is the embodication of many projects between the two mediums. The European-Algerian Partnership project presents a number of opportunities and challenges. Cooperation relations between the European Union and Algeria were no longer sufficient on the commercial side. Those relations had to be strengthened in order to find a new formula for cooperation, namely, the conclusion of agreements on a comprehensive partnership between the parties in various areas. Since its inception, the European Union had endeavoured to establish economic relations with its external surroundings, and had therefore concluded several cooperation agreements with various Mediterranean States, under what was termed the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership.
