Academic ambition and its relationship to mindfulness among university students

Our current study aimed to examine the relationship between academic
ambition and mindfulness among university students, in addition to revealing the level
mindfulness among the members of the study sample
The Academic Ambition Scale prepared by (Jabr, 2012), and the mindfulness
Scale (prepared by the researcher) was applied on the sample of the study, whose size
was 224 male and female students of bachelor's degree from undergraduate students
at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at Relizane University during the
academic year 2021/2022. After analysing the data using the spss statistical system,
we reached the following results: the presence of an average level mindfulness among
university students, as well as the existence of a statistically significant relationship
between academic ambition and mindfulness. Based on the findings, the researcher
recommended some recommendations, including preparing training programs aimed
at developing mindfulness and academic ambition among students.
