Andalusian feminist poetry is one of the literary arts that had a distinct
appearance during the Middle Ages, and many sources have referred to this subject at
length, revealing a distinguished era for Andalusian women in the field of literature
and poetry, This is reflected in the huge number of Andalusian women who
contributed to the enrichment of Andalusian poetry with their poems, and their
number doubled,. One of the reasons that blew up this artistic glow among the women
of Andalusia is the nature of Andalusian society and the interest of Andalusian kings
and princes in feminist poetry, Where they found in it a fertile haven to highlight the
strength of their personality, in light of the conflicts that afflicted Andalusia from time
to time. Which opened a wide field for Andalusian women of all kinds to access this
art.The book “Naffh al-Tayyib” is considered the most important Andalusian
historical source, it included a chapter on Andalusian feminist poetry and references
to Andalusian women poets.
